Locked out of new iPhone/prior android user

Friend’s iPhone is not recognizing passcode and not letting her enable Face ID on the new phone. She just switched from android to iPhone today and did not have an iCloud account prior to this. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

Friend’s iPhone is not recognizing passcode

Have she forgotten her passcode?, see this Apple article: If you forgot your iPhone passcode

and did not have an iCloud account prior to this

She did activate her iPhone once, then she had to use her Apple ID.

Have she forgotten her Apple ID?, she can check her Apple ID via her email box, see this Apple article: If you forgot your Apple ID
