my iMac is not reading MicroSD cards any longer. It will read standard SD cards without issue.
when I insert the Micro SD card it comes up with the options to Eject, Ignore, Initialize. Disc Utility sees there is a card inserted but shows that it hasn’t been formatted. The card is a Fat formatted card.
I have rebooted, changed adapters, etc. again this is with ALL Micro SD cards.
any ideas? Thanks!

Please restart the computer in Safe Mode per the directions in the How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support link.
Note: If you are using a wireless keyboard please either plug it in using the supplied Lightning cable that shipped with it. If you are using a legacy keyboard or a third-party keyboard that does not have re-charging abilities, please use any USB keyboard. Also note that a Safe Mode restart may require you to hold down the shift key for up to 5 minutes before the computer starts in Safe Mode. You will know it is in Safe Mode when you see “Safe Mode” in the upper right of the display.
After restarting in Safe Mode, then restart normally and test.

Hello, the cards are out of a Wyze security camera system. They load just fine on a PC. When I plug them in the the Mac that’s when I get the errors. If I go to disk utility and try and manually attempt to mount it I get another error. (Com.apple.diskmanagement.dissenter error - 119930868)
Clicking initialize just opens the disk utility.
Unfortunately, that did not work.
Are these new empty micro SD cards or micro SD cards that have been used in a camera.
If new and empty, what happens when you Initialize one?
If the later, what camera are they being used in?
Has to be something to do with the format that the camera uses.
I would check with > https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us to see if they have a solution.

I am using SanDisk microSD adapters that came with the microSD card.
I know the adapter is notoriously unreliable in a camera, it could be the same in the computer. You might need a micro reader.
