IPad Air 4 Ethernet

Can I connect my IPad Air 4th Generation (2020) to the Internet using a Ethernet connection?

If I can what connections/adaptor do I need?

With iPad, there's no need to connect it with an ethernet cable. You can simply connect to a network wirelessly (Connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support).

However, I'm sure you would be able to find a USB-C to ethernet adapter somewhere online.

Thank you for your reply.

I am already connected to the internet by wifi.

I am on the 1gb tariff with my present provider, but using wifi I get less then half the connection speed. I thought my using a Ethernet connection I might get close to the connection speed I pay for.
