Hey there Ddynasty,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're having issues with your external monitors connected to your MacBook Pro, and we'd be happy to look closer into what's going on.
To get started, are you by chance using a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip? We ask because you can connect one external display to that device. You can find this information listed in the following resource under the "Mac computers with Apple silicon" section: Connect a display to your Mac - Apple Support
If not using a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip, we'd recommend following the additional steps under the "Find out how many displays you can connect" section to ensure that your device supports two or more monitors.
Let us know what you find, and we'll continue from there.
Take care!

The Dell Wd 19 is a USB-C dock.
To daily-chain more than one display off such a device, the device must be a genuine Thunderbolt device connected with a high-speed Thunderbolt cable.
The 2020 Apple-Silicon M1 13-in MacBook Pro and Air are extremely-capable entry-level computers. They can support the internal display AND an External display up to the previously unheard of size of the Apple 6K display at billions of colors. But only ONE in addition to the internal display.
This may not match the way older computers forced you to work, since older computers were not able to support a really large external display.
