How can I find out details of the hard drive in my Mac ?

I have an iMac 21,5 and a repair tech charged me money to replace the hard drive with a digital hard drive how can I check it this is true

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.2

Hold the option key, choose "System Information" from the Apple menu.

you can launch ASP found in top left of the menu bar and look under data or thunderbolt or any other pertinent tab.
