Facetime Glitches

I've been noticing a lot of bugs and issues with Facetime when I multitask on another app or even responding to a text recently including:

Screen freezing until I put my phone to sleep
Swipes into multitasking and shows my previous app without me touching the screen
Keyboard switches to the numbers anytime I type a letter
Changes to a different app

I have the newest version of IOS, an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and I've restarted my phone but nothing gets rid of it. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just my phone? I did accidentally drop it into the toilet almost 6 months ago but I dried it in a bag of rice and haven't had any other problems besides this one.
