I am wondering if the lightning port on my iPhone 13 can transfer data at USB 3.0 speeds, as I am debating on buying the USB camera adapter or the USB 3.0 camera adapter. Would I see any benefit from buying the USB 3.0 adapter? can my iPhone even transfer data through the lightning port at USB 3.0 speeds?

I’m not sure what adapter you’re talking about specifically but I can confirm that the lightning port maxes out at USB 2.0 speeds of around 60MB/s. If you need to adapter for a workflow issue I’m sure it’s fine but a specifically 3.0 adapter will not speed anything up I believe.

USB 2 speeds are up to 480 Mbps.
