Charging MacBook pro in India bought from Canada

Hello,

I am using MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) in Canada. Now, I am going to use it in India.

Questions

  1. The plug is different in India as opposed to Canada
  2. To maintain a healthy MacBook pro, how should I take care of it?

I am looking for suggestions in product but also with regards to information regarding adapter/converter.

There are so many in the market, I am unclear as to what is the right way.

Thank you.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.1

Maybe get a Power Adapter Extension Cable.

For most Apple portable power adapters, the input portion uses

an adapter; while the output is automatic and only varies due to

the input. There are extension cables to replace the small toggle

end portion. This allows for securing the adapter to wall port.

That seems to be better, due to it not being unplugged often.

Here's a page URL to see a few choices, beyond this cable:

• Power Adapter Extension Cable - Apple (IN)

"The 1.8-metre Power Adapter Extension Cable is an AC extension lead that

provides extra length for your Apple power adapter. Use it with MagSafe

and MagSafe 2 power adapters; 10W & 12W USB-A power adapters; & 29W,

30W, 61W, 67W, 87W, 96W and 140W USB-C power adapters."
