Charging Canadian purchased MacBook Pro in United Kingdom

Hello,

I have a Canadian purchases MacBook Pro. I will be abroad for a year in the UK with my MacBook Pro. I am wondering if I can charge my MacBook using the charger with adapter or if I should purchase a UK charging cable at the Apple Store in the UK. I'm mainly considered about my computer getting shot. Thanks for your support.

If you are using the Apple supplied charge cube, you would simply need the appropriate plug adapter for the local power system.
