For what specific disk and volume?

Posting an image of what Disk Utility shows would be useful. For some volumes they are Disabled and can't be enabled.


Make sure that in Disk Utility all carats point down ⌄ to fully expand the list.

To add it to a reply

Click on the add image icon right below the test entry box


After clicking on the icon you are present with a Finder like windows. maneuver to find the image file you want to post and click on it and select Open in bottom right or double click on the image file to add the image in the test reply box.

The first image is of the startup snapshot. That is sealed and can't be directly changed. YOu can change some attributes of startup but those would be incorporated into another snapshot.


The second image is of your Data volume and it can be changed and Owner is enabled.
