Bedtime Reminder Stopped Working

My wife’s phone and watch stopped sounding the bedtime reminder. We checked all the settings related to sleep and compared them with my identical phone and watch; they were identical.

I searched & searched and could not find a solution.

Today we discovered the cause of the issue.

Under Settings>Sounds & Haptics, the RINGER AND ALERTS volume was turned down to off and the Change with Buttons switch was turned off.
