I’ve noticed in the last week or so that my Apple Watch SE turns nightstand mode on by itself sometime during the night. If I grab the phone and turn the nightstand mode on then off, the watch turns off again. But the next night it happens again. I can’t find a setting to fix it and nightstand mode is off each time I check the app on my phone.

So we're on the same page, is your Apple Watch displaying just the time on the screen in the middle of the night, or is something else happening? Also, are you using any of the Focus or Sleep features on your iPhone at night as shown below?

Hi there! Just the watch face would turn on (so the time was displaying because the watch face is set up to be a clock). But I couldn’t pinpoint why. It wasn’t when it finished charging or anything so it must have been some time during the night. Yes I think Focus had taken over what used to be my do not disturb at night but I fixed that. The watch iOS had an update yesterday and I noticed the watch face did not turn on last night. So maybe that fixed it.
