My MacBook Pro only writes capital letters

Suddenly when using Numbers, my MacBook Pro only wrote capital letters (with the green light on the caps lock not turned on) and I restarted my computer.

But it kept on, and now I cant type in my acces code.

Any ideas of how to work around this?

Did anything spill or drop on the keyboard?

Does anyone else use the computer?

If the Caps lock key circuitry got damaged in some way, that may explain it.

You can try to reset the SMC. If that doesn't work, I'd bring it in for service, or at least attach an external keyboard to see if the problem is the main keyboard.

Thank you for your answer.

No - nothing was spilled on the keyboard - it just suddenly started to write capital letters.

How can I reset the SMC?

I tried to reset the NVRAM, but it didn't make a diffenrence.

But since I wrote the original message, I have through my password, but not the computer is reacting like in slow motion...

Guess I just have to bring it to the doctor:-)
