Iphone 8 won’t work with Google fiber

We just installed Google Fiber and my iPhone 8 will not link to the wifi. My husband’s 8 is fine, as is the iPad and Galaxy tablet. Network reset didn’t help. Any ideas?

Yes, there was a Verizon security app (Digital Secure) that was preventing my phone from connecting to the google fiber wifi. Deleting it took care of the problem. I have also notified Google and Verizon of the app issue. Phew!

We understand that your iPhone will not connect to Wi-Fi and that you already found the perfect article for this issue If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Is your iPhone able to connect to other Wi-Fi networks OK? Is there any VPN or security software on your iPhone? If so, please remove it temporarily. Are you encountering any error messages?
