Custom HiDPI scaled resolution for external monitor

I have a 2019 16" Intel-based MBP, which I connect to an LG 5K2K monitor. Through macOS 12.1, I was able to select a HiDPI scaled resolution of 3840x1620. After upgrading to macOS 12.2, the new max HiDPI resolution is 3360x1417. It's really a bummer the high scaled resolution was dropped because the native resolution of 5120x2160 is just too small and the new highest scale resolution is noticeably bigger (and would have been a deal breaker in buying this monitor).

I'm looking for help figuring out how to add a custom HiDPI scaled resolution for my external monitor. Any tips?
