Skip all the links regarding iMessage and FaceTime in the other thread, they are irrelevant and will just cause you to waste your valuable time and I don't want that. If you Face ID had failed prior to the latest version then you have a hardware problem with your True Depth Camera. Click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to start the service process and good luck to you.
