How do I get Apple TV to work on my PS5? The app will not start. I have deleted it several times and different ways and restarted my PS5 and updated and shut off everything several times and sent reports several times but nothing is working.
Does the app launch at all, or does it launch but it gets stuck on a certain screen?
if it gets stuck on a certain screen, I’d consider clearing the cache, then performing a reboot, then try to launch it again (This cache clear procedure can be found on Sony’s website and on its tech posting board). If it won’t launch at all, I’d take that to Sony ps5 Support.
That's unfortunate. I'd recommend opening a case with Playstation support. Maybe this is an issue others have had. If so there may already be a fix or at least a workaround.
It does not start at all. I’ve erased cashe, restarted both the PS5 and Apple TV app (tried) Checked updates, erased the app and downloaded latest one etc several times and nothing is working. All the other apps are working fine. My Apple TV works on my other devices too. So it’s definitely just not working on the PS5.
