When I get my first mac, I had parallels. Over time I switch to all native applications.
Two mac later, I still have Parallels applications showing up in Launchpad (apparently from Time Machine Restores of user data from the previous mac). How can I get rid of these?
They are confusing with the native applications with the same name.

The possible dangers of migrating from Old computer to New - it brings over Old Issues into New Computer.
If it is Not Actually installed on the computer but appears in Launchpad - while in Launchpad hole the Option Key. Take notice of the Parallels icon and should juggle and a large X in top Left corner of iCon should appear. Click the X and should presto disappear.
Grab the Icon and Drag to Desktop or Trash
Thanks, when I hit the option key in Launchpad, the parallels applications vibrate but there is no X.
All of these application icons either have an arrow in the lower left corner or look like a folder.
