MacBook Air Display Exposure is off
The exposure on my macbook is too bright. It suddenly happened one day while my MacBook was sleeping. Its as if the color are washed out or something. How can I fix this?

"Im not trying to confuse you. The problem isn’t within my iPhone its on my Macbook. I was saying that the coloring (which I assumed was exposure) of my laptop seems washed out, like the colors aren’t displaying correctly. It’s look as it does when you bring the exposure up when editing photos on an iPhone."

No worries :)
What to Consider:
I. Take this in for Evaluation:
Do you have access to an Apple Store nearby? If so, set up a Genius Bar Appointment and have the screen evaluated. If deemed hardware issue, they'll inform you of it. You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this. So, if deemed faulty, it would likely be nothing on you. If no Apple Store near by, then ask Apple if you can send this out for service. See my user tip: Send-In Service - Include Handwritten Notes with the Packaging - User Tip
or...
II. Troubleshoot this on your Own:
A. Boot in Safe Mode:
[Hold Down: shift key, upon boot], In Safe Mode, Login Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait 30 seconds, and then boot up normally seeing if you still get this error.
If Still any Errors...
B. Reinstall the macOS:
Nothing would be lost. It's just that misplaced items would be placed back to where they should be and corrupt system files would be replaced by clean files. Go Here: Reinstall macOS - Apple Support. Use the third bulleted method: [command + r]. As mentioned above, prior to the reinstallation, to prevent data loss, be sure to Back up your Mac with Time Machine, prior to the reinstall.

Lower the Brightness, Manually:
"Display Exposure" is not build in to the Mac. So, lower the brightness.
Go Here: Change your Mac Display’s Brightness - Apple Support
A Few Thoughts:
Looks to me like you are using an application. So, use it with the lights on in your room, or during the day. If it is a background, then simply change the background.

"Its not the brightness either I tried lol. It looks like how when you bring the exposure up when editing pics on your iPhone."
-------
Use Dark Mode:
I've never come across this issue. So, Use Dark Mode on your iPhone when opening and using these apps.
