My MacBook Pro (running Monterey vs12.1) can't find my mouse; there were no problems using it until I turned on my laptop, nothing was changed. I tried another mouse and it is not seeing it either. But both work on a windows laptop. Any advice to fix this is greatly appreciated ... Apple support said they can't help me because I have a logitech mouse.

You do not say what exact Mac is this...?
older Intel Macs you can try
resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
if no resolve you can try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
