Cellular update failed on iphone X while on latest iOS

Is there any way to fix the cellular update failed error message on iphoneX? i have tried the whole hard reset and restore from itunes. Genius bar techs seem to think there is no way to fix that and am rather attached to my iphone x despite having the new iphone 13 pro. Would love any insight into this.
