iPad Pro 11 - not able to charge with iOS 15.2 & 15.3

Having a strange issue, after iOS bump to 15.2 and persists with 15.3. I am unable to charge my iPad.

I obviously tried different cables, chargers, restarted the device.

Most obvious would be a broken usb-c port, but it doesn't seem to caught any dirt or got loose and the coincidence with iOS bump is extra weird. I am able to get it charging with some third party cable, but it works once every 30 tries, then it charges just fine. With MacBook usb-c charger the battery icon blinks, but no results.

Is this sth any of you experienced or most likely the port is simply broken?

As described, your iPad battery may have a fault. These support pages should help with troubleshooting:

Charge and monitor the iPad battery - Apple Support

If your iPad won't charge – Apple Support

Whilst acknowledging that you may already have tried some of this, troubleshooting generally requires substitution of the Power Adapter and cable for another known-good item.

If you continue to experience difficulties, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support - and request a remote diagnostic test. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad, Power Adapter and cable(s):

I am having this exact issue. Battery life wasn’t as long with 15.2 but as soon as I updated to 15.3 I cannot get it past 2% at the most, even with a brand new apple c charger. If I try to use it while plugged in I can maybe use it for 3 mins before it crashes again. I have forced restarted and done everything I can think of. This is beyond frustrating
