Logic won’t play

I’m deep into a project and every couple of minutes my project decides that it doesn’t want to play anymore. When I hit play the play head jumps back a second but will not play. No error or overload messages.

Sudden Playback Latency in Logic I'm not talking about input monitoring. Playback is delayed from how it was recorded. This was never an issue until recently. I can test this by playing perfectly in time to a metronome. Upon playback, the notes are all shifted later. What happened? What do I do?

Logic Pro X the Catch when playback Head is not doing anything anymore I have a logic project that is used in a live show with click track to me the drummer. Normally I highlight/make blue the catch thing shown in this screen shot and then the playhead stays in the centre and the project continuously moves to the left so I can see whats coming up at all times. This has worked for years. Suddenly on the second set in a theatre the playhead goes to the far right then refreshes with a new screen. I've tried every option and combination of options in this catch playhead thing and nothing works. I rebooted computer, phoned Apple tech support and nothing has worked. I'm hoping there is some little thing that needs to be turned on. I have 3 shows this weekend and hope to have it working by friday if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you
