Not charging

My Apple Watch won’t charge when I plug it in.. it shows green like it’s charging for one second then it goes back to not charging. It also doesn’t vibrate when I plug it in like normal. Help!

Apple Watch 5 won’t start charging until after a few minutes on the charger Sometimes when I put it on the charger it’ll start charging right away which is nice but most times I put it on the charger and nothing happens. Eventually while I’m sitting around doing nothing I randomly hear it ding indicating it’s charging. It’s never not charged though which is great.
