my imessage is not working

hello!! so i bought a brand new iphone 11 and i tried testing the imessage, but it seems that only my email for my apple id was checked and would be able to be used for this. i tried tapping my phone number however, it kept loading and until now it wont work. i tried updating to the latest software update and rebooting or turning my phone on and off but still, it wont work. please help

Are you sure that is a mobile number?

Do this:

Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage

Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time

Restart phone.

Settings, Messages, Turn on iMessage

Settings, Face Time, Turn on Face Time

Also make sure numbers are in the security section of your AppleID.apple.com account.

 


and see Problem activating iMessage

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime
