MacBook Pro 8k-16k video editing

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had any insight to whether the MacBook Pro 16" would suffice for 8k-16k video editing on Final Cut Pro.

• Apple M1 Pro with 10-core CPU
• 16-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine
• 16GB unified memory, 1TB SSD storage

My first choice was the MacBook Pro 16"

• Apple M1 Max chip with 10-core CPU,
• 32-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine
• 64GB unified memory, 1TB SSD storage

However, they are out of stock until April and the job I need this for is time sensitive.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!
