unable to access my Mac Pro to get the serial number

I do not have the serial number but need to schedule a service appointment but I am unable to do so via the website

Sign into the Apple ID site, and then select your Mac Pro under Devices. The serial number will be shown.

Turn the computer over and read the serial number printed on the bottom case.
