Has anyone found a fix that works to stop this from happening? I listen to music while I’m working every day and this is extremely annoying. I don’t need Apple to babysit me and tell me where my volume should be. I will stop using Apple products if this can’t be changed.

Im sorry to here that your AirPods aren’t working as they should
have you tried going to headphone safety and turning off reduce loud sounds? To to this go to setting then go to sound then at the top you should see reduce loud sounds, click on that and if its on turn it off.

Thanks for replying but that didn’t help. I’ve tried all these fixes and my volume keeps going down. It seems not rule or reason to it. Sometimes it stays where I put it for a awhile and sometimes it turns right back down as soon as it turn it up. It’s very annoying.

Are you using a protective case on your iPhone? If so, does removing it help? Does this only occur when using headphones? Are you able to test with a different pair of headphones?

This problem is not fixed still. I’m using YouTube music for my music. I’m not sure what else will helps. I’m really tired of the volume always turning down, it’s like someone is doing it on purpose. I’m switching from apple, I keep having too many problems with those products. Thanks for trying to help anyway.

I tried it with Apple Music and it did it there too, I saw it do it when music wasn’t even playing too. The volume bar pops up and it goes down on its own.
Yes it only happens when I use headphones. I don’t have any other one to try, my old ones were malfunctioning, that’s why I got new ones. Thought it was fixed today, it didn’t do it for three hours but then it did it lots of times, it goes so low sometimes, less than 25% volume. It’s extremely annoying
