Apply Pay Scam

I got scammed months ago, for $700. I paid through Apple Pay and now my account is down -$700. I’m confused because I reported it to my bank BOA (I have all the dates/screenshots of the scam) and they reimbursed me $700 in credit but now I have to pay Apple Pay back to fix the account deficient? so am I actually not getting any reimbursement then?

  • Apple Cash cannot be refunded if you have been the victim of a scam. There is no buyer protection for Apple Cash. You must report it to the police and report it here - contact us to open a dispute
  • If the scam happened on social media (Facebook/Instagram, etc.) you need to let them know as well.
  • If you have a negative balance on your Apple Cash you need to transfer enough money from your bank account to cover the negative amount. You should also go here - Apple Pay Customers

You bank illegally initiated a transfer of 700$ from your Apple Cash to your account. They did not refund you money. They have zero authorization to initiate a transfer. You need to go to this link - https://applecash.greendot.com/termsconditions/ and look for the instructions toward the bottom in section 9
