Fonepaw DoTrans

I just used Fonepaw Dotrans to transfer files from iphone, but it asked me to enter backup password to open backup, is it safe to use this software? I entered the password to see my files. can this leak my personal info, contacts, passwords etc?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12
