Further to what babowa correctly suggests, Apple ONLY takes your money when a device is preparing to ship. While the order may not have updated, this is actually a positive sign as you'll likely see a status change to Preparing to Ship soon.
Yes, of course it is. You'll see the status change from Processing, to Preparing to Ship, then once shipped, Shipped and you'll receive tracking information.
