My Mail App is slowing down my MacBook Pro M1 running Monterey 12.2. How does one back up ALL my mail?....and also delete the Mail App (freezes when I click to open an email) and restore it possibly in a few days time?
The Mail app is part of macOS and can't independently be deleted/reinstalled.
You can only reinstall the entire macOS
You can backup by exporting your Mailboxes. Maile>Messages in menu bar and select Export.
If you go to Mail>File in menu bar there is a item for importing Mailboxes.
There are apps for backing up mail messages independent from Tie Machin.
