Why doesn't my iPad screen mirror to my MacBook?
I’ve followed all the instructions on the Apple website but my MacBook doesn’t show up as an option to screen mirror from my iPad.

Hi, I have this same issue as well.
I'm using iPad Pro (11-inch, 2nd generation) and iMac 2021. My mac doesn't show up as an option when I select "Screen Mirroring" option on my iPad.
I can, however, have my iPad as a second display of my mac via Airplay (Sidecar). But that's not what I want to achieve-- I'd like to screen mirror my iPad to my mac, not the other way around.
Is screen mirroring to mac supported? Thanks!

Make sure "AirPlay Receiver" is enabled in System Preferences > Sharing on your iMac.
What MacBook model / year do you have?
What macOS version is it running?
