I'm trying to start the free trial for apple tv, but every time that I try it says that I have to add a payment method on my apple account. I have PayPal set up as my payment method and the "edit" button is grayed out so I can't change it. Any ideas?
Subscriptions require a payment method that can be charged periodically and automatically. Not sure if PayPal needs a permission setting for that.

Last resort, you may be able to add funds to your account (balance like store credit), and use that as payment method for subscriptions. Add at least one billing cycle worth for starters. Add money to your Apple ID balance - Apple Support
