Tom Hummert,
Depending on your operating system, iTunes, can be an option for use. If you're using a newer macOS, make sure you're running the latest available macOS. If you have any third party security software or VPN installed, disable it and try syncing.
Be sure your iPhone is connected directly to your computer and not through a hub, or the keyboard. If available, try using a different cable to connect to your computer.
Regards.
Just Updated iPhone to 15.3.1 and then iWatch 3 updated to watch OS 8.4.2 without a problem. Something must have been fixed from previous updates. If anyone else has been looking at this then try that. I will close this session in a while to see if this helps anyone else first.
Hi Tom Hummert,
Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.
We understand you're unable to sync your iPhone. Make sure you're syncing with computer that's running the latest operating system and the latest iTunes version, if you're using iTunes to sync. Make sure your computer has available storage and that it has been restarted.
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer
Regards.
Hi,
I also can't sync my iPhone. I have made sure that both the MacOs on my computer and iPhone are completely up to date (Monterey 12.2 and iOS 15.3 respectively), I have rebooted both devices, and I still get the error. What can I do to fix it?
It was synchronizing before I upgraded to Monterey.
thanks,
Sandee
I have tried everything I can think of. ITunes does not exist anymore, Music, Apple TV, Books, etc now all appear to be different entities. I am running the most current systems on my iPhone and laptop. I have restarted, etc all to no avail. I am really just interested in updating my my Books sync to listen to some new purchases. It will go through 3 solid steps, then into the 4th to sync and then about a minute or two later just stop and give me this message.
