Is your Siri Remote still paired? Try pairing again.

Is the Siri Remote battery charged enough? Try charging for 30 minutes (or 3 hours for 100%).

Try unplugging from AC power, then reconnect. That would also start it up. That would confirm if the unit is in working order.
