System Profiler Security

Is there any sensitive information in the system profiler that would compromise the computer if shared publicly/

Yes but it depends on what you mean by "compromise the computer." If you have specific concerns, be specific.


Hardware serial numbers are generally considered personal information. You may also have named your Mac with a name you consider personal, you may have external hardware that you named (hard disk drives for example), wireless network names, even the programs you installed may be something you don't want others to know. It's a long list.
