I have for gotten it all will not bring to Home Screen

oh if I shut down use option brings to my Wi-Fi sign in ???? Lost will send photos ask my origin then forgot password comes up and stalls …..

can't t reset passcode for macbook I forgot my password for my MacBook Air. The password hint didn’t help. So I am trying to reset it using my Apple ID. When I enter it I get the message in red “There was an error connecting to the”. That’s all it says. When I click on the wifi symbol at the top right it says I am connected to my network. What’s up?

What year MacBook Air do you have? Is it your operating system and home screen you can't get to? Or have you forgot your login password?If your Mac doesn't start up all the way - Apple Support
