I’ve been getting the “Invalid SIM” popup for a while, and today it came up again and I **** down my phone and turned it back on. When it turned on, I couldn’t access FaceTime, or even have the option to try and turn on IMessages in Settings. None of my texts are IMessage. I don’t know what to do

Bug with my iPhone 12 My iMessages and FaceTime are failing to activate and in addition to that my Personal Hotspot isn’t working. I used my SIM card on another phone to make sure that it wasn’t just the sim and it worked properly, making the issue my phone. I tried resetting my network settings, airplane mode, and everything. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Unsuccessful activating iMessage Hi! I’ve been using iMessage with my current phone number for long times, but then I used the new sim for a whole and then iMessage and FaceTime didn’t work anymore no matter how many times I’ve been trying. Anyone can help me out with this issue, please. Thank you!

See the Apple Support article(s) below.

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime. *

If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. *

Some things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a forced restart. See the section towards the end of the article.

Reset Device. -

If necessary

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting. *

Restore - If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. *

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
