Unrecognized passcode to unlock iphone during setup of the phone

Hi, im setting up my new iphone.. I was able to enter the passcode already but when I tried the passcode to unlock the phone and continue setting it up, it didnt recognize the passcode and the phone got disabled after 3 attempts to enter my known passcode. How can I continue setting the iphone? What passcode to use to unlock/enable the iphone?
