If you were a student wanting to learn MS Access / MS Publisher and have a MacBook; you could try this... 5 Ways to Run Windows Software on a Mac; https://www.howtohttps://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/offic
MS Publisher / MS Access *only work with Microsoft Windows* as pre-installed software dependencies already exist within their operating system architecture.
That said, Microsoft Access / Microsoft Publisher are not free with any current plan, including education.
Plans:
Office 365 A1 Free (no commitment) $3.25 (Does NOT include Microsoft Access or Publisher app)
Office 365 A3 $3.25 user/month (annual commitment) $8.00 (includes Microsoft access, MS Windows only, NOT for MAC)
Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher (PC only), Access (PC only)
Office 365 A5 $8.00 user/month (annual commitment)
You are aware that MS Access (and also MS Publisher) are for Windows only? There is no version for Macintosh, and that includes Microsoft 365 subscription plans.
Contact Microsoft about that as it is their product.
Many schools have educational versions of Office available and sometimes even free licenses. Check with your school's IT support.
