Safari error message on 2019 MacBook Pro

When I try to load anything in safari:

“The error is: ‘WebKit encountered an internal error’ (WebKitErrorDomain:300)”

I’ve viewed this question and comments before and I read to go to the apple support link, log in, something about safe mode … I type the link in and the same error message pops up.

It’s unavoidable, and making it so my laptop is useless.

What do I do?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

Go step by step and test.

1. Quit Safari, launch Safari holding the Shift key down.

2. Clear History

Please read the article before clearing history,

this is like a low level resetting of Safari without affecting passwords and bookmarks.

3. If Safari doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected
