iPhone hacked at repair shop?

I took my iPhone to get a minoir repair done. I left it there and came back after 30mins to pick it up. Subsquently I got worried that I had left the iPhone with them unlocked and they could have backed it up or looked up private info.

Is it possible for them to backup all data and thenlook at it later? or am I just paranoid?

Yes, it is possible. If you have any doubts about them and their motives change your Apple ID password→Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support and restore a backup made before the repair to your phone→Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support. If there is any chance of them getting their hands on your phone again also change your phone’s passcode.

If they are a legitimate business it is unlikely they would snoop, but it always pays to be careful.
