Can't sign into my old iPad
I’m trying to sign into my old iPad.It is asking for PASSWORD for email@me.com.I’m new at this .

You have encountered Activation Lock. You will need the Apple ID and password of the person who set up the device. Without that info, you will never be able to use the iPad. We can't help and Apple will not unless you can provide the original receipt clearly showing the serial number.
How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support
You can recycle the device at any Apple Store.
