I cannot connect my iPhone to my Mac to empty the pictures

I CAN NOT CONNECT MY IPHONE TO MY MAC TO EMPTY THE PICTURES

See this Apple article: Transfer images in Image Capture on Mac

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/image-capture/imgcp1003/mac

Click on the option (bottom left of the screen) -> Select -> Delete after import.
