Does iTunes not work in Windows 11?

I recently downloaded the latest version of iTunes (12.12.2.2) on my Windows 11 computer. I tried to connect my iPod Touch 7 for syncing, but nothing happens. My computer recognizes the input, but not iTunes. No pop up, no device button, nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, itunes itself, used various methods for syncing, Ive tried nearly everything. Is this happening for any other Windows 11 users, or am i just out of luck?

If they had the same issue and figured out the solution, they'll reply it. if not, they'll reply "me too" and will be alerted when someone replies with a solution.

Also, as I've said before, I've technically already said what I've tried by replying that I've followed the entire article's instructions.

At this point, I'm restating what is already known, and will not be replying unless something new comes along.

If you list the things that you have tried then maybe someone can suggest something useful. Until then, the only realistic replies to your post will be to the two questions you posed:

Take it from me; "Me too" responses will not actually help you in any way at all. In fact, they'll simply bring you down because you'll be left thinking that there is no solution.

The version number is the same, but the delivery and installation method differs. The traditional installer includes multiple separate .msi components that each get an entry in Add/Remove Programs after installation. The Microsoft Store version doesn't. There are also differences where multiple user profiles are in play. The method for manually selecting the right driver also doesn't apply to the Microsoft Store version, it is all supposed to just work, with no obvious steps for resolving things if it doesn't.
