Logic Pro X - "Not enough memory to create object" error

Just fyi, the moment after posting my reply I had the idea of bouncing the troubled audio in place and then trying to make groove template... it worked. Once the flexed audio has been bounced in place, delete the original, turn on flex for bounced in place version and create groove template. No idea how or why this works but seems to be to work fine.

Just found a work around... Instead of creating a groove template from the track you want other tracks to follow, make that track a groove track and then check the "match groove track" box on all other tracks. If you right click on the leader track, if you will, there's a drop down menu in which you'll find "track header components". You'll then find the "groove track" button which you will check. After doing so, you'll find the groove track button on the track itself. Hope this makes sense. This is just a starting point.

Literally the exact same issue since updating to 10.7.2 with Big Sur. This is so frustrating as groove templates are such a huge part of my production workflow. The workaround using groove tracks is ok if you only want to use one groove applied but working with multiple grooves is not possible. I hope we hear something.

I am having this same exact problem, my Macbook Pro is 1 year old and should have plenty of memory. The solution of using groove tracks instead of templates is working like a charm, but it would be nice to be able to make templates use more than one groove and save them as templates as well. Glad I found these posts, I was going crazy trying to figure this out!

Cool. I've bounced tracks in place for other issues involving flex time before. This makes perfect sense. Let's hope this bug can be fixed in future releases. Thank you.
