Big Sur Apple ID login loop

Updated my 2015 iMac to Big Sur a few months back. No issues, everything went smoothly. After updating to 11.6.2 I started having issues signing into iCloud for the iMac. I could sign in at iCloud.com no problem. After updating to 11.6.3 yesterday, I can no longer sign in to my Apple ID.

When I try and log in, it goes back to the sign in window.

I read something about the Keychain, so I reset that, logged out and restarted, but that did nothing. I also keep getting asked to sign into iMessages, FaceTime and iCloud, but nothing accepts my pw. Is this a glitch with Big Sur? Do I have to reinstall iOS in recovery mode? I have started up in safe mode but problem persists.

Any help would be appreciated.

Problem: Other problem

Description:

After updating iOS Big Sur to 11.6.3 on my 2015 iMac, I cannot sign-in

to my Apple ID. The sign-in window just loops back to the original s

ign-in window after completing the ID, PW and Enter. My Apple ID and

PW work when I open Safari and sign into iCloud.com.

I have used Big Sur for two months with out incident.

FaceTime, iMessages and iCloud also keep asking for sign-in credential

s, yet won’t except password. They do not state incorrect pw, they ju

st loop back to original request sign-in window.

After resetting nvram, I was still unable to sign into my Mac with Apple ID. I was, however, able to sign into my iCloud internet account email. (Sys pref > Internet Accounts > iCloud)

Afterward I again tried to sign into my Mac with my Apple ID, but continued stuck in sign-in loop.

I also tried FaceTime sign-in again, this time it stuck in limbo.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
