When I wake my Mac from sleeping I get notification sounds such as those you'd get when a new email comes in or from apps yet I don't have any new emails nor new app notifications. Just recently it made the same sound waking up as when you take a screenshot which I didn't do, either. This last one made nervous. Why does it do this? Does anyone else experience this?

We understand that when waking your Mac from sleep you are hearing notification sounds, but not seeing any notifications.
Does this same thing occur when your Mac is booted to safe mode? Since you mentioned it happens each time you wake your Mac from sleep, it should be something that can be quickly tested. How to use safe mode on your Mac
