Unable to share Health app data

My wife and I are trying to share our health data with our daughter. My wife and I can see our daughters, but we cannot see each other, and she cannot see us. Two step authentication is on, health is on in iCloud, all phones are fully updated to iOS 15.3 (19D50). My wife and I are on iPhone 12+ Pro Max 256 and the daughter has an 11 (not sure if it is Pro, but I think it is not the max). For sure all three are updated as we sat next to each other updating them. It's weird because we can see the daughter's information, but not each other and she cannot see ours.

Mine was fixed. And this is how.

I had an Apple Specialist who specializes in the Health App call me. I had to do the following:

Go into settings, contacts, and default app. Mine was Google so that was changed to iCloud.

Next, go back out to settings, then messages, and turn off iMessage.

Then, back out to settings, Facetime, and turn off Facetime.

Then, turn phone off and back on.

Now, go back in and turn on iMessage again. And now click on use iCloud account. This took a minute to work on my phone, but eventually worked.

Do the same thing with Facetime.

Go delete the contact you want to share with. Go into you contacts (factory app and not third party app). At the top you should see Groups. This feels like it did not need to be done, but we unchecked the Google account (and any other accounts) leaving only iCloud. Now, go add the person you want to share with. You have to make sure you add this persons iCloud email address in the new contact.

Another thing to check was settings, cellular, and make sure both Health and Fitness are turned on.

Once we did all the above simple steps (I know! Not simple for me either!!!) Go back into the Health App and delete the invite if it is still pending. Once there are no pending shares, add the person you want to share with. Mine was actually immediate!

RonaldBJr,

Thanks for the details. Let's continue working together to sort this out. Do you receive the invite on any of your devices?

Have you had a chance to update to iOS 15.3.1 yet?

Have you confirmed each of you have the correct iCloud email address saved in your Contacts for the person you want to start sharing with?

Send over these details, and we'll go from there.

Thanks!

Hello there RonaldBJr,

Thanks for joining us in Apple Support Communities! We understand you're having difficulty sharing your health data and viewing health data that was shared with you. We're glad you're here, and we can help.

"The person you want to start sharing with must be saved in your Contacts with their iCloud account email included." Keeping that information in mind, do you have one another saved as contacts with the iCloud email account included? Have a look at this support article to learn more:

Share and view health data in the Health app

If you haven't added each person you want to share your health data with as a contact, you can follow the steps to do so here:

Add and use contact information on iPhone

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers!

We all followed this step by step:

Set up sharing

  1. On your iPhone, open the Health app.
  2. Tap the Sharing tab, then tap Share with Someone. Make sure that Health is turned on in your iCloud account.
  3. Search for a contact to share with. A name in blue indicates that the other person’s device supports sharing. Grey means their device does not support sharing.
  4. Tap See Suggested Topics or Set Up Manually.
  5. Choose the data you want to share.
  6. Tap Share, then tap Done.

The person you selected will receive an invite to begin viewing health data.

All we get is invite pending.
